On the Ice; Day after Thanksgiving 2010 - Wright County Minnesota

the day: day after Thanksgiving 2010
the lake: Buffalo Lake - Wright County MN (1500 acres, 30 feet max depth)
ice thickness: one inch to one-and-three-quarter inches
method of travel on the ice: Wilcraft (I would NOT have tried walking on that lake just yet!)
catch: a few smallish crappies

only ice fishing i get here in texas is ice in my drink!!!

I'd be happy to take any of ya out icefishing.
Of course for icefishing, it helps if ya come up between Thanksgiving and St Paddy's day.


by the way . . . yes I tend to use y'all AND eh in the same sentence occasionally.
and when I use them both like that, I often get razzed about it.
It's a unique result of growing up in north central Montana cattle country.
Still some old influence in the language from the cattle drives out of Texas AND also some current influence from our Canadian neighbors to the north.
