LBJ tourney

Been on a lot of fish lately but no big kickers. Entered a tourney last weekend and finished 3rd with only 8.65 lbs. for 5. Lost last fish on deep brush pile that could have culled a 1lber. to give me the win. Lost out on #1 spot by less than 1/2 lb. Last fish would have gone 4+. Will post pics. If I can figure out how again. Got a new server................ Can't get them to come up. Sorry/

Not much. Actually caught most of these lately on Trig or weightless Senko's. Have been pulling some out with Shacky head too. We've actually had a good spinner bait and crank bait bite also. Gonna hit it again in the morning.

How did you do ?

Only caught 5 with 4 being keepers. Those 4 did go a right at 11 lbs. though with 2 right above and below 4 lbs. and a couple cull fish on a good day. Caught all on soft plastics. Most on Senko's with one coming on Havoc creature bait. Not the numbers but some nice fish. The lake was packed....... LBJ is one of the only lakes around with water still in it and ramps open. Can't wait for rifle season to open so some of these guys can get to their leases and leave my water alone.
