| From: pinvaq 8) I was using the Minda Spear Worm 4” watermelon candy with a 1/16 chartreuse jig head and a 4 pound line. We were doing Catch & Release. With this specific lure I caught 7 trout with and average weight of 570 grams ( 1.25 pounds ). In a couple of weeks we will go for Bass at the lake where this year’s competition will be held. I promise to get many and better pictures.
These worms were bought at a local store named The Great Outdoors; the store is located in Satélite City , Naucalpan, State of Mexico they had about 7 or 8 bags and not many different colors. Satélite City is a suburb right outside México City . We usually buy lures at Cabela’s and Bass Pro Shops. They send their products through the US Postal Service & Mexpost. Though thing have most of the time arrived without any trouble, a couple of times we did not get the products, or it took a long time to arrive. Since using airmail or a private company gets pretty expensive. I would suggest using surface shipping, but use certified mail and ask for proof of delivery (usually the signature of the person receiving the package) As long as the value of the package does not exceed US$150.00 there are no problems with costumes.
