CastorBlasts Hog & Varmit Hunt Results & Pics

Sondra ,Mike , Greg & I went 1 hr east of Dallas to hunt , and it was muddier than what we thought it was gonna be

We had to walk over a mile in the slop to get to our stands , but the outfitters failed to tell us it was a swamp !!!

After we had already paid our $150 each , he then dropped Sondra ,Mike & Greg off using a 4 wheeler to get them in the swamp, Then I had to walk over a mile to another spot and saw 2 does a hawk, cardinals and a coon & no hogs

We felt that he should have discounted the hunt or told us to come back when the conditions were better but he did'nt !

The Lodge was really nice after the renovations and we still managed to have some fun after we thawed out from our cold wet feet and had a cookout

Sorry that we did not get hogs ya'll , lesson learned and better luck at another place next time

Them steaks were good Rodney , just wish the hunt would have been better

Had a blast but certainly could have done without the mud. Yes them steaks was good!! Love me a nice thick grilled rib eye. I will do it again. Maybe not there, but I will go hunt again. I got a rifle that aint had no rounds shot through it yet so thats a good enough reason for me to go hunt some more.

Got Duck Rodney ???

Limit yesterday of ducks than dove hunted the evening and did poorly. Headed out shortly with some buds . One day good and next ???? on the ducks.
